About Pierre Cousyn

Grand Prix Dressage
Pierre has been my partner and teacher for the past 7 years and I am lucky to have him as a full-time trainer. Pierre has an incredible talent to quickly identify underlying causes for tension between the horse and rider and is able to explain solutions with an easy to understand "how" as well as "why", with both kindness and patience. The focus is on relaxation, trust and correct training. His passion for the horses makes him a joy to watch ride and teach.
Pierre has 40 years of experience in 6 countries.
He was formally educated in Europe and is a two-time graduate of the National Equitation School in Saumur, France, home of the prestigious Cadre Noir. He holds degrees in both Moniteur (Trainer) and Instructeur (Instructor for Professional Riders)
